Chelsea Asked to Positioning Torres on Bench

Lillestrom - Towards the crucial match Manchester United, Chelsea get advice from former players. One of them, Carlo Ancelotti was asked not to put Fernando Torres.

The opinion was expressed by former Chelsea defender tough, Erland Johnsen, who was also crowned the best player the club.

According to Johnsen that defends Chelsea in the period 1989-1997, former club players have to accumulate as much as possible in midfield when treated to MU this weekend.

"I would put myself in front of Didier Drogba in a 4-4-1-1 formation, with Nicolas Anelka was behind it," said Johnsen told Reuters.

"I think you will not be able to play a 4-3-3 pattern at Old Trafford ... and I would put Torres on the bench," said the man in Norway.

He also warned Chelsea not to make the same mistake with Schalke when confronted with the 'Red Devils' in the Champions League arena.

"What's wrong do Schalke, especially in the first leg at home, is that they leave a big hole in the center. You have to be really tight in the middle against United and Chelsea players need two wings on hand to help."

"When Chelsea play a 4-3-3, both wingernya too forward. If they do not help (defense) at Old Trafford, Chelsea will be difficult. Chelsea also have to tighten the defense and threaten the MU from behind the attacks," commentator Johnsen.
